Our on-site wine tastings show it again and again: Many people are afraid of Riesling. "Such sour stuff" is the comment we hear when people dare to tell us their opinion honestly. But then they take the first sip. Their eyes widen, their eyebrows go up... and their opinion changes fundamentally within seconds. And when they have tasted (almost) all our mature, balanced, versatile single-vineyard Rieslings after a few hours, they are absolutely thrilled.
Therefore, we would like to make you a very special offer today:
You've probably already noticed that we love being Palatinates. In fact, we're even proud of it, even though it's actually strange to be proud of something you have absolutely no influence over – who chooses where they're born and grow up, after all? But that's just how we humans are; we love our homeland, and woe betide anyone who questions our cherished traditions. So far, so good. But one can also overdo it:
Do you remember how we raved about the sensational year 2025 a few weeks ago ? No frost, rain, and sunshine in a wonderful alternation – everything's perfect! We already knew that this year's yield would be about 20% lower than average because the flowering period was prolonged and there was a minor cold snap that meant not all the flowers were pollinated .
On the other hand, we didn't find this so tragic, because it resulted in the grapes growing more "loosely" this year (i.e., with a bit more space between the bunches). This ensures good ventilation and prevents...

Anyone who goes to a creative school learns to dance their name. This is well known. We Palatinate people, on the other hand, dance our craft... and that's no joke! This dance is called Küferschlag (cooper's strike)...
