And when they have tasted (almost) all our mature, balanced, versatile single-vineyard Rieslings after a few hours, they are absolutely thrilled.

Praise can be inspiring – we all know that. And when Europe's largest wine magazine awards our flagship, the single-vineyard Riesling, top marks, it's a bit like Christmas and a birthday combined. We just experienced exactly that, and ever since, we've been walking through our vineyards with a big grin on our faces. But what exactly is behind it?
Today (March 13th) Riesling celebrates its birthday! It's turning a tender 590 years old, Germany's most popular white wine variety. The first documented mention dates back to 1435. The hashtag #rieslingbirthday will be trending on social media today. We're already looking forward to seeing the pictures.
