Wer sich mit gutem Wein auseinandersetzt, wird ziemlich schnell auf den Begriff »Terroir« stoßen. Der Begriff kommt aus dem Französischen und hieß erst einmal nur »Gebiet«. Heute steht das Wort »Terroir« im Französischen zusätzlich oft für das, was wir im Deutschen als »Regionalität« bezeichnen.

Woher kommt der Begriff Terroir? 

Das erste Mal wurde der Begriff »Terroir« im Zusammenhang mit Genuss und Geschmack im Mittelalter in Frankreich von den Zisterzienserorden genutzt...
