A social gathering with friends, a picnic, a bike ride, a morning pint ... There are many occasions for our Schoppen wines. But how do they differ from gourmet wines? Perhaps the best comparison is with a potato: A Schoppen wine is what a good lunch is: delicious and inexpensive, solidly crafted, uncomplicated and somehow a guarantee of satisfaction . The Schoppen wines have the lowest alcohol content (11.5%) in our wine range and are therefore mostly available in large 1 liter bottles. Because they are so wonderfully drinkable and fresh that you always want to pour yourself a little more... Whether Müller-Thurgau , Weißburgunder , Riesling , Silvaner or Scheurebe , our white wine selection is large!
This is what wine experts say:
" Light yellow with green reflections; the scent contains fine fruity notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits such as passion fruit and star fruit; on the palate the wine also impresses with a harmonious play of sweetness and acidity; lively, fresh overall impression. " - DLG Federal Wine Awards, Frankfurt am Main, 05/2024
" Typical but very delicate scent of blackcurrant, peach and ripe pear. Subtle fruity aromas in the mouth with a fine sweetness and refreshing acidity. Wonderful with gentle creams (panna cotta, crème brûlée) and fine pastries. " Dr. Rolf Klein, experienced wine author and former editor-in-chief of the magazine " Weinwelt ".
