...be at least 18 years old to drink our wines.
Our gourmet wines are between the bottled wines and the premium wines in terms of both price and alcohol content (11.5 to 12.5%). They are perfect companions for a delicious meal or food pairing... But they also look wonderful by the fireplace after a long day at work: put your feet up, take a deep breath, enjoy life! The pleasure wines were pressed for this purpose. Because as the name already says: If you want to relax and unwind, the gourmet wines are the right choice.
In this category we have our largest selection of white wines: International grape varieties such as Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc complement the traditional Riesling. At the same time, we also grow future-oriented grape varieties, such as the climate-oriented Burgundy varieties and Cabernet Blanc. Because of climate change, some traditional grape varieties (such as Riesling) are having to struggle quite a bit, while other grape varieties (such as Pinot Blanc) are benefiting from the rising temperatures.
Yes, and then of course we still have the little crazy things in this category, such as the G.punkt (the G. stands for Graf, of course): A rosé in a stunning color that is a real eye-catcher with the pink cap.
Those who prefer something sweeter should keep an eye out for the aluminum capsules in orange: Our Blanc de Noir and Muskateller were our personal favorites when we were really young (we're still young now, of course, but nostalgia knows no age; -) ).
It's best to try them all once! By the way, it's worth it when it comes to shipping: With 15 bottles, we save (all) the packaging material and you save on the transport costs!
What wine experts say:
“ Bright yellow with green reflections; intense fruit aromas of tropical fruits such as passion fruit and mango as well as green peppers and gooseberries; Carried by an invigorating litter and fresh fruit notes, this Sauvignon Blanc leaves a refreshing, harmonious overall impression ." - DLG Federal Wine Awards, Frankfurt am Main, 10/2019
"Green-yellow play of colours; spicy, opulent aromas of green peppers, gooseberries and asparagus paired with notes of cassis; the outstanding play of sweetness and acidity underlines the fruit aromas; impressive finish." DLG Federal Wine Awards, Frankfurt am Main, 2018
"Fizzy gooseberry type with lots of exotic and green fruits, very balanced. Delicate fruit acidity, making it pleasantly juicy and rounded. Little resistance to drinking and definitely makes you want a second glass! Goes well on its own as well as with summer salads, asparagus and fish dishes." dr Rolf Klein, experienced wine author and former editor-in-chief of the magazine "Weinwelt".
