2022 Portuguese Weissherbst dry 1 liter

A Weißherbst may only be pressed from a single red wine variety. In return, you can cuvée it with a maximum of 5% red wine (from the same variety, of course). In this way, the color can be intensified a little afterwards. Weißherbst is made from the Portugieser grape at our winery in the beautiful Palatinate region.

Our Portugieser Weißherbst is one of our most popular wines by the glass. He is an easy drinking partner who goes along with everything. You have the choice between two variants: dry or mild.

A social meeting with friends, a picnic, a bike ride, a morning pint... There are many occasions for our wines by the glass. But how do they differ from gourmet wines? Perhaps the best way to compare it is with a potato: a glass of wine is what a good lunch is: tasty and inexpensive, well-crafted, uncomplicated and somehow a guarantee of satisfaction. The Schoppen wines have the lowest alcohol content (11.5%) in our wine range and are therefore mostly available in large 1l bottles.
