Starting signal for the 2022 vintage
Dear friends of good wine,
Now it's finally starting again: The 2022 vintage has begun! Yesterday we harvested the first grapes for the 2022 vintage. These included the grape varieties Müller-Thurgau, Portugieser and Sauvignon blanc.
Even if the vintage is a bit more manual and therefore labor-intensive due to the ongoing drought, we are full of confidence and looking forward to the new vintage. From now on, our harvest team needs about four weeks in the vineyards to harvest the best quality grapes for you.
Especially nice: the enjoyment starts immediately! From this week, Friday (September 9th), you can buy the first bottles of the 2022 vintage. Our fruity grape juices red & white are already bottled and ready for you.
Would you like to experience the most beautiful season of the Palatinate up close? There are three possibilities:
working - we look forward to all harvest helpers, even on a daily basis! Physical work is a wonderful balance to the stressful everyday office life and you will discover muscles that have been dormant for far too long ;-).
partying - the Weyher Wine Festival will take place next weekend, from September 9th to 12th. From suckling pig to vegetarian lasagne, from light white wine spritzer to noble Riesling - it's finally going to be a really nice weekend for everyone!
enjoying - our Gutsausschank is now open 6 days a week . Reserve a table and enjoy autumn in the vineyard, whether in the secluded garden with the last rays of sunshine or in the cozy straw room.
