Southern Wine Route area
The Southern Wine Route begins at the German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach on the French border and ends in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. It makes up about half of the 84 km of the entire German Wine Route. Our winery is located in the upper part of the Southern Wine Route, a good 10 km south of Neustadt. Whenever we select grapes for our wines that come from different vineyards in our region, the term "Southern Wine Route Area" can be found on the back of the bottle.
